Recently launched 'PEOPLE and PLACE A Census Atlas of the Republic of Ireland ' includes work by two Urban Environment Project researchers. Cormac Walsh, Research Fellow is currently researching and analysing urban sprawl in the Dublin region as part of the multi-disciplinary EPA funded project 'Decision support tools for managing urban environment in Ireland '. However, he has co-authored no less than 6 chapters in the recent NUI Maynooth publication. Also, Ronan Foley, a key member of the UEP Modelling group worked with NIRSA colleagues to produce the chapter on Housing and Travel. For further details regarding the publication please click here.
